Affairs Afloat had the privilege of setting the stage for the 2015 Tarrant County College Celebration of Excellence Awards. The evening honors students who have been nominated by faculty members in a variety of categories.
For this event we took our cue from the biggest awards night in the country – the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards (aka The Oscars). Balloon Oscars were there to meet each recipient when they walked down the red carpet to receive their award.
Balloons were used to accent Hollywood legends like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe, while black and gold stars hung from the ceiling and lifted from each of the tables.
