This weekend Affairs Afloat created columns to mark the entrance to the iLive Expo, produced by BEE Empowered Incorporated.
The iLive Expo is the largest wellness and empowerment expo for women and girls in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. It brings together local and national companies that specialize in health and wellness, as well as increasing financial and entrepreneurial awareness by promoting a day full of informative lectures on a variety of wellness topics and interactive events for women of all ages.
BEE Empowered Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides an avenue of community support, development and empowerment to adult women who are in transition and at- risk youth girls in helping them achieve life’s fulfillment. Their mission is to empower, transform, and equip communities on the importance of wellness and wholeness, through engaging and implementing preventative health living programs and transitional life services.
Since 2010 BEE Empowered Inc. has implemented a wide range of prevention focused programs, and community related special events that address key women’s and youth girl’s wellness and health issues.
To date their programs have serviced over 10,000 women in the DFW Metroplex and over 67,500 women have attended or benefitted in some way through their community events.
