Kick Off Homecoming in Style!
Homecoming season is here, and at Affairs Afloat Balloons, we’re already busy transforming schools and front doors with creativity, color, and a whole lot of pride! One of our favorite local traditions? Door mums—a unique way to show off school spirit and celebrate students in unforgettable style.
The Tradition of Door Mums: A Heartfelt Welcome
In Texas, mums aren’t just for dances; they’re a beloved homecoming symbol of pride, creativity, and togetherness. While students traditionally wear and exchange mums, doorstep mums have become just as cherished, greeting students with a festive burst of school colors and spirit as soon as they walk up.
Balloons: The Missing Piece for WOW Factor
Ready to take your door mum or school spirit display over the top? Balloons bring a pop of fun and a splash of color (literally!). Our Balloon Specialists can:
- Customize colors to show off your mascot/school pride
- Create organic balloon garlands or arches above doorways for a show-stopping entrance
- Add foil balloons with numbers, letters, or shapes for extra personality
- Design bouquets or accents to pair perfectly with traditional ribbon mums
Whether you want classic charm or bold, trending styles, balloons make every homecoming installation memorable and photo-ready.
